The House with the Yellow Shutters

Charming Holiday Home in the Upper Beaujolais

Heart of the Upper Beaujolais • 330 m² • 6 bedrooms • Jacuzzi • Preserved nature

A nature retreat in the heart of the Upper Beaujolais

Nestled in the hills above Saint-Igny-de-Vers, our large charming holiday home welcomes you to the heart of the Upper Beaujolais — a wild, preserved territory quite different from the wine-growing Beaujolais further south. Here, wooded hills give way to fir forests, vineyards to upland meadows, and tourist roads to hiking trails the world has forgotten.

This characterful, fully renovated 330 m² house offers 6 spacious bedrooms and 18 beds in a setting of absolute calm. The Upper Beaujolais is a land of contrast: in every season the landscapes shift — from the deep greens of summer to the golden hues of autumn, the winter mists to the bursts of colour in spring.

From the house, set off to discover authentic villages such as Beaujeu, historic capital of the Beaujolais, or venture up to Mont Saint-Rigaud, the highest point of the Rhône département. The 1,000 m² garden and the outdoor 7-seat jacuzzi are perfect for restoring after your explorations. Whether you come as a family, with friends or for a corporate retreat, our Beaujolais group accommodation is the ideal base for full immersion in the nature of the Upper Beaujolais.

🌲 What exactly is the Upper Beaujolais?

The Upper Beaujolais (Haut-Beaujolais) is the northern, mountainous part of the Beaujolais wine country, defined by wooded hills, fir forests and authentic villages.
