The House with the Yellow Shutters
A large holiday home at the heart of the Green Beaujolais, an enclave of untouched nature
Welcome to the Green Beaujolais, the wilder, lesser-known face of the Beaujolais. Far from the southern vineyards, here nature is in charge: fir and deciduous forests, rolling hills, flower-strewn meadows and crystal-clear streams compose a landscape of soothing beauty. Our large group holiday home nestles at the heart of this exceptional environment, in Saint-Igny-de-Vers, offering a complete change of scene just 1 hr 15 from Lyon.
With 330 m² of living space and 6 bedrooms, the house comfortably hosts 10 to 18 guests in a setting where wood, stone and natural light create a warm atmosphere. The vast 60 m² living room with its wood-burning fireplace invites cosy evenings after a day's hiking in the hills. The fully equipped kitchen lets you prepare meals using the local produce found at the Green Beaujolais markets.
The 1,000 m² enclosed garden is a natural extension of the surrounding forest: your children can play safely while you enjoy the 7-seat jacuzzi overlooking the lush green hills. Lac des Sapins is just 20 minutes away, and hiking trails set off directly from the village. Whether you come for a group break with friends or a family nature retreat, the Green Beaujolais offers a truly restorative setting. From €1,000 per weekend, treat yourselves to an unforgettable green getaway.
