The calm of the banks by day, the conviviality of the house by night — an unforgettable break between anglers
The Upper Beaujolais offers a remarkable variety of waters. Lake, first-category rivers and private ponds suit every fishing style.

Lac des Sapins is the jewel of the Beaujolais for anglers. Its 45 hectares hold large carp, pike, zander, perch and roach. Varied pegs — grassy banks, jetties, shaded zones — let you vary techniques and pleasure.

The Azergues, Trambouze and Grosne are first-category rivers populated by wild brown trout. Fly, dapping and lure fishing are practised here in an exceptional natural setting, deep in the wooded valleys of the Upper Beaujolais.

Several private ponds in the region offer day permits for coarse fishing, feeder or carping. Suitable for beginners and experts alike, they guarantee regular catches in quiet, leafy surroundings.

On non-fishing days, explore the picturesque golden-stone villages, the local markets and the Beaujolais wine estates. A perfect cultural counterpoint to vary the pleasures of your stay.

The Beaujolais isn't short of activities for non-fishing companions: hiking in the hills, cycling among the vineyards, swimming at Lac des Sapins or simply relaxing in the jacuzzi at the house.
