Chauffailles, a lively market town of southern Saône-et-Loire, is known for its Saturday-morning market, its local shops and its agricultural heritage. Staying at our holiday home gives you both the convenience of Chauffailles for your shopping and the preserved beauty of the Upper Beaujolais: rolling green hills, fir forests and stone hamlets. The château of La Clayette is just 15 minutes from Chauffailles, and the Beaujolais vineyards stretch out to the south of the house.

You have a choice: a bed-linen package at €150 and towels at €75 are available for the whole house. Otherwise, bring your own at no extra cost.
The house suits birthdays, family parties, corporate retreats, yoga retreats and themed weekends. The 49 m² multi-purpose room with projector and the enclosed 1,000 m² garden allow varied setups indoors and out.
The kitchen is fully equipped to cater for groups of up to 18 guests, with a 60 cm family oven, a 5-burner 80 cm ceramic hob and a microwave.
The cookware set includes around 10 saucepans with 4 large stainless-steel stockpots, 8 frying pans, knives, ladles, whisks, spatulas, skimmers, sieves, BBQ tongs and 6 chopping boards.
Small appliances: hand blender, multi-function food processor, 2 electric whisks, jug blender, electric carving knife, toaster, kettle, filter coffee machine and Dolce Gusto.
For group meals: around 35 cutlery sets, 60 dinner plates, 30 water glasses, 25 wine glasses, 25 mugs, 20 stainless-steel serving dishes and 15 salad bowls.
Pets are welcome with a €50 surcharge per stay. The fully fenced 1,000 m² garden lets them enjoy the outdoors safely.
The house is about 20-25 minutes by car from Chauffailles, on pleasant country roads through the rolling Upper Beaujolais hills. Saint-Igny-de-Vers lies right on the border between Saône-et-Loire (71) and Rhône (69).
The Chauffailles market takes place on Saturday mornings with local producers (cheeses, charcuterie, seasonal vegetables). La Clayette's market is held on Thursday mornings. Both are wonderful for discovering the specialities of the Brionnais and Beaujolais terroirs.
